Offers live matches and on demand video worldwide

Mexican football club Chivas have relaunched their direct-to-fan service ChivasTV to offer live matches and on demand video worldwide with live streaming and sports OTT specialists StreamAMG.

The Guadalajara-based football club, whose official name is Club Deportivo Guadalajara, competes in Liga MX, and is the only club in the league to offer a dedicated live streaming service, ChivasTV.

The expanded service now offers live matches, highlights, interviews and features covering the men’s, women’s and youth teams.

The service is built on StreamAMG’s suite of video solutions to handle live streaming acquisition and delivery, on demand video content management, and user management and payments. Chivas is StreamAMG’s first club partner in Latin America.
