Geoff Mills has been promoted to managing director of Mistika finishing system manufacturer SGO.

Former Quantel regional sales manager Mills joined SGO to head-up the Spanish firm’s London-based subsidiary in 2009.

He was then promoted to group director and tasked with leading the company’s global sales and operations strategy.

In his newly created role he will continue to focus on driving strong customer relationships and further accelerate revenue performance, SGO said.

“Geoff has been instrumental in SGO’s growth and we are proud to recognise his contributions to our success with this promotion,” said SGO chief executive Miguel Angel Doncel.

“He will continue to play a key role in our global outreach and innovative leadership. We’re looking forward to the continued value he will bring to SGO as we move forward.”
