Miranda launches Kaleido IP X100

Unveiled at ANGA 2012, the Kaleido-IP X100 handles IP monitoring and is the latest addition to Miranda’s multiviewer range.

Housed in a 1RU chassis, it monitors up to 24 SD or 8 HD video sources.

It handles MPEG-2 and H.264 transport streams and can serve as a single, dedicated IP multiviewer, or it can be combined with additional Kaleido multiviewers.

Miranda’s vice president of multiviewer products Scott Murray said: “The Kaleido-IP range provides remote signal verification and, in conjunction with Miranda’s EdgeVision, deep content probing tools that rapidly identify whether problems at unmanned hubs actually require expensive on-site attention.”
