Molinare’s chief operating officer Scott Holmgren has quit the post production company.

Broadcast understands that he left the business last week having resigned some six weeks ago. He is currently on gardening leave.

Holmgren was appointed chief operating officer in January last year when he also took on the responsibilities of managing director and chief executive following the departures of Mark Foligno and Richard Hart.

Holmgren joined Molinare as technical director in 2008. He was previously head of operations at Pepper Post, a position he held for three years.

Mid-way through last year, Molinare was re-launched following a £7m refit. Around the same time, owner India-based media group Century Communications took a more active role in the management of the business.

Molinare did not respond to requests for comment.
