The Moving Picture Company has installed two Truelight colour calibration systems from FilmLight for use with its Quantel IQ colour grading suites. MPC will use the systems to calibrate its two film grading suites. The decision to invest in Truelight followed a trial of the system on Michael Winterbottom's film Code 46. Truelight can support colour management through the grading process and up to the final output and saves time and effort by allowing artists, colourists, supervisors and directors to check the final film grade at any point in the post process.
