Inseparable Bonds is the latest short film from Lars Magnus Holmgren, who won a Turner nomination for his work with artist Liam Gillick, AnLee You Propose.
Holmgren, a lead animator at MPC, said that Inseparable Bonds worked as a short movie and as a TV pilot. He added that the film is about "our host with the most, Sir Real, who interviews his latest guest - a couple who have merged into one abominable character". The film has been shown abroad but it is likely to be broadcast in the UK. Shot on Mini-DV it incorporates 3DCG and 2D, and Holmgren claimed it challenged "complacency in the media arts, offering an alternative to reality TV: surreality TV".
