Brief Online edit, audio mix and grade for the story about two children who help a mother elephant and her baby return to their natural home.
How it was done Mark Stokes completed the online and grade using Avid Symphony. The inclement weather conditions meant that attention had to be paid to severe changes in natural lighting and white balance throughout. Working closely with Flix CGI artist John Whittington, Stokes then incorporated fun graphical elements, creating a map illustrating the journey from Chiang Mai Province to Huay Pakoot, with pop-up signposts marking their progress along the way. The map was produced in Adobe After Effects using the Element 3D plug-in for the design and animation of the signposts. Hannah Fairclough mixed the audio.
