Brief Full post-production on a six-part series following The Call Centre’s Nev Wilshire as he attempts to open a business in India.
How it was done For the grade, Sam Mangan used Avid Symphony to give the Indian locations an appropriate look and feel. After settling on a palette focused on greens, browns and yellows, the key was to balance and match the various camera formats to maintain a consistently warm and vibrant look. Particular attention was paid to saturation to ensure the images ran in parallel to the emotional highs and lows of the show. For the sound, dubbing mixer Olatz Gonzalez used Avid Pro Tools to separate the dialogue from the crowd and traffic noise of Delhi. Atmospheres and spot effects were also added.
