Osborne, who was head of studios at Anglia, replaces Rachel Joseph who left to join The Farm Group last month.

Pinewood Shepperton recently committed itself to expanding its television operations and is currently in talks with local authorities to increase stage space by half over the next ten years. The proposed growth would increase the film and television stages by up to 1 million sq ft.

Recent programmes made at Pinewood's TV Studios include Weakest Link , My Family and All About Me.

Joseph is now new business director at The Farm Group.
