Test and measurement manufacturer OmniTek will give away a brand new OTM1000 waveform monitor system at IBC as part of a competition for visitors to its stand.

The OTM1000 system is a scope box designed for easy transport and suited to OB and broadcast operations.

It has a high resolution display built-in LCD, identical functionality to the OmniTek OTR 1000 full-motion signal generator and provides support for SD, HD, DL and 3G video formats as a generator and or as a waveform analyzer.

To enter the competition, visitors simply need to visit OmniTek's booth 6.C10 at IBC and supply their business card. A draw will take place on 30 September.

It is also possible to enter via OmniTek's website http://www.omnitek.tv/competition.php

Mike Hodson, president of OmniTek, said: “The competition is open to any engineer working for a bona fide broadcaster anywhere around the world and is designed to raise the profile of our exciting new product launch which we believe is the most advanced signal generation and analysis system available today.”

At IBC 2008, OmniTek will also be exhibiting other new 3Gb/s-compatible products, in addition to a range of other high-resolution waveform monitors and picture quality analyzers.
