Pepper Post has promoted commercial director Jane Coombes to the role of joint-managing director, a role she will share with current boss Shane Warden.

“Jane's vast experience and reputation in production coupled with her business acumen makes her the perfect partner,” said Warden. “This allows me to drive the business strategy and technology forward as we look to grow Pepper”

Coombes said: “Despite challenging market conditions Pepper continues to offer a high quality service in both picture and sound post production. We're constantly working very closely with producers to help them achieve the highest production values whilst acknowledging the ever increasing budget constraints.”

Coombes started her new role earlier this month (March 2009).

Pepper is also in the process of upgrading the audio capabilities at its Noel and Greek Street facilities.

The company is adding an HD projector to its large long form broadcast studio and building a new fourth surround studio with voice over booth for short form work.

It also has major plans for its Studio 1 dubbing theatre and has brought on board three new senior creatives. For more on this story see this week's Broadcast (27.03.09).

Pepper Post is currently working on the Sony Columbia feature film Planet 51 and is responsible for all post production work on Law and Order UK (pictured).
