The adult broadcaster, the British arm of Hugh Heffner's global publishing company, is making its content available on the following platforms: Sky, broadband, video-on-demand, mobile handsets, Sony's PlayStation Portable (PSP) and the Apple iPod.
The package was launched in the UK on Monday (18 July) but there are currently no confirmed plans to adopt a similar model in the US.
Four adult channels: Playboy TV, Adult Channel, Spice and Climax 3 will be available on Sky and as a video-on-demand broadband service, along with 800 hours from the back catalogue.
Playboy is also putting out exclusive content on different platforms, such as the weekly Cyber Girl, which will be available at www.playboy.co.uk. The package will also allow iPod users to download podcasts offering crash courses on the Playboy lifestyle from experts in wine, cars, fashion and, of course, sex.
Head of content Richard Jukes said: "All of these screens are just windows through which to see pictures. Regardless of the numbers of windows that are available, whichever one you want to peek through then we should have something ready for people when they want to see it."
