Brief Provide cameras and post for Idris Elba’s screenwriting and directorial debut, which stars Anna Friel as an accountant whose world is turned on its head after she meets a homeless man who lost everything in a tragic house fire.

How it was done Onsight supplied an Alexa camera and lens package to capture a filmic look and processed the rushes and dailies with a quick turnaround.

The look was achieved using Mistika by colourist Andy Lee, who created a clean and contemporary finish with enhanced colours on particular objects, including a pair of red shoes that are pivotal to the main character’s thinking.

Contrast levels were very important to the piece and had to be consistent throughout.
