Louisa Sutherland-Smith and Matt Locke arrive from Halo, while Matt Adams joins after spells with The Farm and Lipsync

Playhouse Post has absorbed The Farm’s audio team, as well as making a number of key hires to its leadership team.
This comes after The Farm Soho entered administration last month. Head of scripted sound and re-recording mixer, Gareth Bull, senior scripted re-recording mixer, James Ridgway, scripted re-recording mixers, Gibran Farrah and Will Stanton, as well as head of sound production, Sam Stubbing, have now all joined Playhouse.
Their recent work includes Young Sherlock, Black Mirror, My Life with the Walter Boys, Ann Droid, It Gets Worse and Netflix’s recent worldwide hit, Below. Upcoming projects include Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror and Age of Innocence, both for Netflix.

In addition, Playhouse has made a number of senior hires to its leadership team, including Louisa Sutherland-Smith as its new operational managing director. Sutherland-Smith worked at Halo and susequently Evolutions for almost a decade, including as managing director and director of production.
Playhouse has also revamped its sales team, with fellow longtime former Halo figure Matt Locke coming in as director of business development and marketing. Matt Adams arrives as commercial director after roles at Picture Shop, The Farm and Lipsync.
These appointments come after Playhouse acquired the former Halo building on Noel Street earlier this year, and acquired Lipsync.
Mark Foligno, CEO of Playhouse Post, says: “Bringing Gareth, James and the wider team on board marks a key moment in our continued growth. Their exceptional talent in high-end drama and scripted TV productions perfectly aligns with our vision. Coupled with the appointment of Louisa, Matt Adams and Matt Locke, we’re expanding Playhouse Post to deliver outstanding picture and sound finishing and services across content spanning all genres.”
Bull said: “I can’t think of a happier outcome than naming Playhouse Post as our new home. I am incredibly proud of my team and the work we’ve accomplished; being given the opportunity to stick together and continue our work means everything to me, and we couldn’t be more thankful to everyone at Playhouse for making this a reality. I am extremely excited about this next chapter as we get to continue working across world-class drama productions.”
