Prime Focus has made four recent appointments in London, including a new commercial director for its content services and two new staff within its broadcast division.

Technicolor’s Sue Mitchell (pictured) joins as commercial director of content services while Tiger Aspect’s Róisín McKeniry comes on board as operations manager and Juliet Gonsalves joins as a senior producer.

At the same time, producer Nicola McDermott moves from within the group to the commercials division.

Mitchell will oversee the content services sales strategy for the UK business in duplication, encoding, film mastering and archive restoration services.

She will also be tasked with sourcing opportunities for digital delivery and global content services contracts utilising Prime Focus’ web-based media asset management system Clear.

Mitchell was previously director of sales at Technicolor. Before that she worked at Ascent Media.

“The attraction for me joining Prime Focus is working with a highly knowledgeable and efficient team, who deliver a service second to none,” she said.

McKeniry will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management and infrastructure of the 58 Old Compton Street broadcast facility.

Juliet Gonsalves and Nicola McDermott will build on their client lists within the broadcast and commercials sectors respectively.
