Prime Focus has promoted James Cregeen to the role of head of operations.
He will oversee workflows, Prime Focus’ on-set data management service Rapta, project management and staffing for the facility’s post production team.
Cregeen replaces Kate Robson who left the facility last week.
“James has been ready for this role for quite some time and this is a natural progression for him,” said Prime Focus head of operations Andrew Condie.
“He has been key to building our operational services thus far and has a strong vision for our future growth.”
Gregg Mitchell has returned to Prime Focus following a year as project manager at Loft London Solutions.
In the newly created role of operations manager in Content Services, he will work alongside Cregeen to support the digital media, restoration and QC services and the delivery of programmes to the AS-11 spec.
Rowan Bray, managing director for Prime Focus post production UK said: “We are delighted to welcome Greg back as our operations manager for Content Services.
“The expansion of our operations management team reflects the increasingly complex and demanding nature of the international programmes and projects that we undertake.
“We seized this opportunity to strengthen our operational team. Greg and James have enormous experience and knowledge; the combined team will be a great asset for us.”
