Broadcast equipment rental company Pro Motion Hire has relocated its London office to a larger, purpose-fitted facility just south of the river in Waterloo.

The new 3100sqft premises have been custom designed and will host a 400sqft camera test facility, as well as a production meeting room.

“As well as the obvious operational and logistical benefits that a purpose fitted facility offers us our aim is to offer an open door policy to our customers and be truly accessible,” explained managing director Miles Standish.

“We have a comprehensive range of equipment - [including] 10 different HD formats alone - and are looking forward to meeting our customers and supporting them all the way with their productions, however large or small.”

Latest additions to the Pro Motion Hire fleet include the Sony PDW-700 XDCAM HD camcorder and the Sony PDW-HD1500 flagship XDCAM HD 4:2:2 50Mb/s dual layer recorder.
