Procam will move its HQ to west London after outgrowing its current home in south London.

A 32,350 sq ft site is being prepped in Park Royal that will be eight times the size of the Battersea operation, enabling the equipment hire firm to house more kit as well as its 100 staff and 30 production vans.

The new facility, due to open in February, will also include a bespoke fitting area, improved test-bay facilities and a large build area. Training courses will be available via a new Procam Training Academy.

Chief executive John Brennan said: “With our expansion of services, including our camera and kit inventory, fleet of vans and headcount, we have outgrown our current HQ. The new space will also allow us to launch some exciting new services.”

The W3 postcode is already home to several rental firms including VMI, 24-7 Drama, Take 2, HotCam and Filmscape Media.

“We analysed postcodes and it made sense for us to be in W3, as it also provides easier, direct access for our clients,” Brennan said.
