The AI creates free scripts and voiceovers in Spotify Ads Manager to enable the production of high-quality audio ads at scale, says Spotify
Spotify has launched generative AI ads for UK advertisers. The feature has been available in the US and Canada for a few months and leverages generative AI in Spotify Ads Manager to create scripts and voiceovers at no additional cost.
Almost 1,500 advertisers have used the tool in the US and Canada so far, to quickly create and launch more than 7K audio ads tailor-made for the Spotify platform.
Spotify says that, on average, it takes advertisers 17 minutes to go from start to finish on creating an AI ad, and 50% of advertisers do it in under nine minutes.
The audio streamer’s Gen AI ads in the UK feature voiceovers with British accents.
Advertisers can make as many adjustments needed to the script and voiceover, all within the tool, to get the ad right.
