A number of the world's biggest broadcast technology developers will be using The Production Show 2003 to show off their latest new products - some of which will be seen outside of the US for the first time, writes Will Strauss.

A number of the world's biggest broadcast technology developers will be using The Production Show 2003 to show off their latest new products - some of which will be seen outside of the US for the first time, writes Will Strauss.

Apple will be exhibiting the fourth incarnation of its Final Cut Pro 4 editing product as well the third version of the Shake compositor. Avid Technology will debut its Avid Media Composer Adrenaline and Avid Xpress Pro products, while For-A will use The Production Show for the first UK showing of its virtual studio digiwarp EX2. Media 100's 844/X, HDX and XBLUR will be on show for the first time as will Pixel Power's new Clarity dual channel character generator launched at NAB.

A number of resellers will also be using The Production Show to exhibit their partners' launches from NAB. These companies include: Boxer, Cypher AMS, Gee, IST, McMillan, nmr, PEC, Polar Graphics, root 6, Symbosis and Tyrell.

In conjunction with Soho Editors Training, Quantel, Discreet, Media 100, Apple, Sony and Softimage will also be hosting free workshops on new NAB products on display at The Production Show.

The Production Show takes place from 20-22 May at Olympia, London.
