North One, alongside production partner Lillebus, have released a trailer for forthcoming sports documentary, All In the Game.

The film is described as “an inspirational feature following the fortunes of a unique grass roots football team and the lives it transforms”.

All In the Game is a 90-minute film following Active Sports FC, a community club in South London, which offers a lifeline to young men in an environment where opportunity is scarce, and the threat of knife crime, gang culture and social exclusion are daily realities, says North One.

The film includes former Brentford academy hopeful, Devonte, and CJ, battling against the odds to go pro after years of injury, as well as Abdul who after a boyhood spell at Fulham, is looking to fight his way back to the top.

“What we uncovered at Active was a story far bigger than sport,” said executive producer, John Quinn. “This is a film about resilience, identity and community – about the real struggles facing a generation of young men, and the incredible strength they draw from one another through football.”

Danny Curran, executive producer, added: “Some of these guys have experienced more hardship in their youth than many of us will in a lifetime, but what’s truly inspiring is how football gives them structure, self-worth, and a sense of belonging. This film is a tribute to the unseen power of the grassroots game - not just as a sport, but as a life-changing force.”

All In The Game was financed by The Heir Hunters (BBC) star Danny Curran whose son plays for the team. The film premiers at an invite-only screening later this month, with the production team currently looking to secure a broadcaster partner.
