Sir Alistair Cook, Michael Vaughan, David Lloyd and Phil Tufnell front company’s latest addition

The Overlap Stick To Cricket

The Overlap has launched Stick To Cricket, presented by Sir Alistair Cook, Michael Vaughan, David Lloyd and Phil Tufnell.

Stick To Cricket joins the recently launched Stick To Rugby podcast and the longer running Stick To Football show in The Overlap’s Stick To… format. It will be available on YouTube and as an audio podcast, with Betfair as its headline sponsor.

Special guests will join the four main hosts for some episodes, in the same style as the other Stick To… series.

Stick To Cricket arrives ahead of a busy schedule of cricket, with the England men’s and women’s sides facing India this summer, before the Women’s World Cup in the autumn, plus a men’s Ashes series and T20 World Cup across the winter.

Scott Melvin, co-founder and CEO of The Overlap, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching Stick to Cricket,  a brand new addition to The Overlap network, and the latest expansion of our “Stick to” series.

“Cricket is a sport with incredible stories, passionate fans, and global icons, and this show will give the game and its characters the platform they deserve. We’re bringing the same energy, insight, and authenticity that makes Stick to Football a hit, and we can’t wait to kick off this new chapter.”

Lisa Marquis, Betfair brand director, said: “Betfair has been part of the cricket world for a long time, and we’re really excited to be forming a new cricket partnership for what’s set to be a huge summer and winter for the sport.

“There’s lots to look forward to this year with England hosting India and South Africa, the Ashes coming up in November and some top-quality county cricket across all formats.

“The Overlap’s ‘Stick to’ series has delivered some brilliant, engaging stories for football fans, and we can’t wait for cricket fans to get stuck into the new show, featuring some of the biggest cricketing legends every week.”
