Quantel and Snell have restructured their international sales operations under three newly-appointed regional heads who will each lead integrated Quantel and Snell sales teams.

Long-term Snell employees Tim Banks and David Tasker will lead the sales teams in Europe, Africa & the Middle East, and Asia Pacific respectively.

Russ Johnson has joined the company to lead sales in the Americas.

Johnson has held similar roles for Grass Valley, Leitch Technology and Harris Broadcast over the last 20 years.

“This reorganisation is another major step in our plan to reposition our brand and drive sales growth and customer value,” said Quantel and Snell chief executive Tim Thorsteinson.

“In line with the new structure, all our worldwide account managers will be representing the entire Snell and Quantel product offering, significantly widening our customer engagement and reach into the market worldwide.”

Quantel acquired Snell in March last year.
