NAB 2015: Red Digital Cinema has unveiled the Weapon, the newest member of the 6K Dragon range of cameras.

The camera has a 19 megapixel Red Dragon sensor and can shoot up to 6K raw. It can capture R3d and 2K ProRes in-camera. It offers maximum R3d frame rates of 6K at 100fps, 5K at 120fps and 4K at 150fps.

The camera supports 1D and 3D LUTs and comes in two models: Carbon Fibre and Magnesium.

Customers can place a deposit for a new Weapon or trade in their existing Red Dragon camera. Those who have already paid to upgrade to Dragon prior to April 13th, or who own an Epic Dragon or Scarlet Dragon will qualify for an additional $2,500 credit towards the value of their camera.
