An industrial tribunal has found Red Post Production guilty of unfair dismissal in the case of three senior creatives with a combined total of 17 years' service. DS operator Alex Pickering, Flame operator Paul Dixon and Fire operator Dave Kiddie were among 12 redundancies that were made last October. They decided to appeal against their former employer's actions after being given no consultation period and discovering that other members of staff had been informed before they had. Following the management buy-out last year, the staff were forced to claim redundancy pay through the government which would have compensated them a maximum of£250 a week. The tribunal concluded that Red had to make up the rest of their entitlement.
