Horth's CV boasts some impressive credits, including miniseries Elizabeth I.

His work won The Mill an award for outstanding created environment in a live action broadcast programme.

“He's been instrumental to the VFX success of some very high profile series,” confirms head of Mill TV Will Cohen.

Horth was also lead compositor on a number of shots for award-winning BBC series Doctor Who and is currently working on BBC1's major forthcoming series Merlin.

With nine years' experience in the field, other career achievements have included Kingdom of Heaven for MPC.

Cohen says: “Russell has a natural eye for compositing... he's a team player and mentor to less experienced compositors.”

Horth graduated from Teeside University with a degree in animation in 2000 before becoming a Framestore CFC runner and going on to join MPC.
