Programme-makers are being offered free use of one of seven HD studios at MediaCityUK in Salford, coinciding with the first BBC staff moving into the premises.
Head of studios Andy Waters said: “We are keen to look at how we can support new formats and help get new shows commissioned.
“For a limited time, we’ve cut the cost of facilities for making all non-TX pilots for new productions.”
