Talent agency Sara Putt Associates has launched a VFX department.

Managing director Sara Putt said: “With the explosion of VFX work in the last few years, the time is right for VFX talent to have the same level of representation that we give to all other heads of departments in the film and television industry.”

The new department represents Sherlock Holmes VFX producer Dan Barrow, whose other credits include The Chronicles of Narnia and Sweeney Todd.

Victoria McDowell, who was VFX 3D conversion producer and production manager on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Batman Begins is also joining the agency, together with Chris Mortimer, the VFX supervisor/producer on Outcasts, 28 Weeks Later and Walking with Dinosaurs.

“We are proud to support the best UK creative talent and look forward to working with many VFX supervisors and producers over the coming years,” Putt added.
