Evolutions Television has taken on Saunders and Gordon founder Robin Saunders as dubbing mixer to staff its new audio suite as it pursues short-form business.

Saunders joins Evolutions nine months after his sound design company shut up shop after 19 years. His first project at Evolutions will be to provide audio post on RDF's Moving Day. He has previously worked on broadcast projects such as Birds of a Feather, Desmonds and idents for CBBC and Discovery.

The audio suite will run on Protools and will be supported by a Sonomic online sound effects library. Bringing Evolutions' total of audio suites to three, the theatre has been set up in what was the last unused room in the 29-suite Charlotte Street facility. Any further expansion will now have to be offsite.

Evolutions managing director Simon Kanjee said: 'Robin's experience and well-established client base and will help move the company into new areas such as promos and television and radio commercials.'

Saunders and Gordon was formed in 1985.
