Post house Sequence has moved into new premises, bringing to an end a year-long search for a bigger home for the London facility.

Founder and senior editor Ben Foakes said the four-storey mews property close to Oxford Circus would be “future-proof ”.

“We’ve invested very heavily in the backbone technology,” Foakes said. “We’ve got some very clever bespoke bits of kit and software going in. What we’ve created is strides ahead of our direct competition in terms of quality and up-to-date infrastructure.”

The facility is linked to Sohonet’s Media Network via a dark fibre connection. It also has fibre connections into Sequence’s Apple Core Xsan central storage and automated fibre Raid back-up.

Sequence will have seven native HD Final Cut Pro online suites, each connected to a dedicated VO room. The new facility will open on 20 December.
