Manchester studio The Sharp Project has been chosen by BSkyB and Tiger Aspect for the filming of Sky 1 HD comedy drama Mount Pleasant.
The production will use two of the four available sound stages, totalling 16,000 sq ft, together with an additional 8,000 sq ft of customised production offices.
The Sharp Project director Sue Woodward described the deal as “a premier league signing”.
Stirling Studios will be a 210,000 sq ft space within reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh
