Shriek music and sound design has produced the soundtrack for Sky Movies' new idents. Shriek joined a five-way pitch, which required a new non-Hollywood approach. Sky commissioner Paul Butler said that he chose Shriek because 'it came up with something unexpected, and has produced a series of highly creative scores around a memorable generic melody'. Apart from the music, which was produced by Tim Rabjohns and composed by Gad Arnon, the idents were produced in-house on XSI and Maya, and Butler comments that the more friendly style is all about 'being a little less highbrow, to match the new structure and approach Sky Movies is taking'.
