Sky’s group brand marketing director Robert Tansey has been appointed executive director of Sky Creative.

In his new role Tansey will look to further develop the agency’s creative output by strengthening integration between Sky Creative and the rest of Sky’s business.

Sky’s managing director of Entertainment, News and Broadcast Operations Sophie Turner Laing said: “Robert has had the privilege of working on some of the most innovative and high profile brand campaigns in recent years. 

“This insight and expertise will be invaluable in helping Sky Creative raise the bar even further in creating campaigns that really push creative boundaries.”

Sky Creative is a full service team specialising in branding, on air, off air and digital campaigns, and TV production. Its remit covers all of Sky’s channels brands.

It also works with third party brands through Sky Media, Sky’s advertising sales house.  

Sky said that plans for replacing Tansey will be announced in due course.
