Alias Hire co-founder Mike Smith and DiA have completed a deal that gives them 100% joint ownership of the rental firm, acquiring co-founder Bal Singh Sanghera’s stake in the company for an undisclosed sum.
Sanghera will continue to run post facility Run VT.
Alias Hire has also appointed hire manager Danny Dawson to the position of general manager and given him a place on the firm’s board.
He will take on the dayto- day running of the company, with Mike Smith taking on a more strategic role.
DiA Group chief executive David Brady said: “I would like to welcome Danny to the board and congratulate him on his well deserved promotion.
“With his enthusiasm and dedication, he will bring renewed vigour to Alias Hire while his technical knowledge and experience he will be a major asset for the board going forward.”
