Smoke and Mirrors has produced graphics work on the promo for Channel 4's programme The Exorcism. The graphics were created on Nitris by DS artist Dan Andrew who worked with director Polly Hayward to produce a sequence that would incorporate both original and referenced 2D artwork with a skull and brain modelled by Tag Creative 3D, lending a scientific air to the subject. Tag creative director Clive Biley and 3D animator Chris Davies created the 3D graphics using Maya and Lightwave. The live show aims to answer whether it is possible to be possessed by demons and how that might be scientifically explained by examining changes in the brain brought on by religious experiences. Presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy looks at whether exorcism can produce a positive mental outcome. The Exorcism airs on Thursday (24 February) at 11.05pm on C4.
