Sound Technology has bought the UK and Ireland distribution part of the Harman Professional Group from Harman International Industries.

A sales team plus exclusive distribution rights for JBL Professional, Crown, Soundcraft, AKG, dbx, BSS Audio and Lexicon products will all transfer to Letchworth-based Sound Technology following the deal.

Sound Technology is an independent distributor of instruments and audio products.

The acquisition enables the company to expand into the broadcast, installation and touring sound markets.
