Compendium Media and Vision 3 have joined forces to create a new joint venture company dedicated to producing and consulting on stereoscopic 3D work.

Vsion3@Compendium will see the 3D stereography and 3D post-production supervising skills of Vision 3 complimented with the commercials production experience of Luke Beauchamp and Richard Skepper, owners of Compendium Media.

The joint venture will concentrate on the production of commercials and Ad-funded content.

Skepper said: “Suddenly there’s a massive opportunity for us to produce exciting 3D content and distribute it through Skys HD platform and the increasing number of 3D enabled cinemas.”

Compendium has also signed two experienced 3D directors, Julian Napier and Billy O’Brien, to coincide with the launch of the new venture.

Vision 3, operated by Chris Parks, Angus Cameron and Adam May, is currently working on the Sci Fi thriller “Creeping Zone” for Dan Films

Both Compendium and Vision 3 will continue to operate under their own brands for projects outside the venture.
