Brief Post-production on a 1 x 60-minute doc about the modern-day endurance swimming community and the athletes who risk crossing the English Channel.

How it was done Director of photography Olly Wiggins used a Canon C300 to create strong cinematic images featuring the British coastline. With the pace of the film reminiscent of Modern Times and 40 Minutes, Envy’s Paul Fallon graded the doc using Baselight, giving it a muted yet naturalistic look throughout, with atmosphere provided by the ever-changing weather.

The online editor was Dicky Everton, with track-lay and sound design completed by John Richards. Electric Wave Bureau, featuring Blur’s Damon Albarn, provided the soundtrack. Broadcast equipment hire firm S+O funded production of the film.
