Soho AI moves to Garden Studios

Soho AI has moved its headquarters to Garden Studios in Park Royal. 

The company, which was founded by ex-DNEG grading supervisor and colourist Garry Maddison, creates AI-powered tools for the VFX industry, and is led by Maddison as CEO, alongside chief operating officer and cinematographer George Burt. 

Soho AI will continue to have a presence in the area that it is named for, but its main headquarters will be at Garden Studios. The facility, which has both traditional and virtual production stages, hopes the AI company’s arrival will create new opportunities for collaboration between emerging AI technology, virtual production specialists and the wider production community. 

Maddison said: “Garden Studios has built an environment where technology and creativity can come together across the production process. Having Soho AI based within that ecosystem creates an exciting opportunity to explore how AI can support filmmakers and VFX artists in practical, creative ways.”
