The Tennis Channel has selected Deltatre to redesign its website and app.

Deltatre’s sport-focused Forge publishing platform will be used to power the digital properties. It aims to increase productivity and team efficiency, removing workflows that require time-consuming steps and freeing editorial teams.

Live blogging and visual stories, including images and video, are two major additions to the website and app, and both platforms are built with an emphasis on personalisation. This includes taking user preferences into account, such as to send push notifications about their favourite player.

Tony Page, president of sport experiences, Deltatre, said: “At Deltatre, we know that sports organizations want greater control over their direct-to-consumer propositions to augment the televised fan experience.

“This collaboration marks another important milestone for Deltatre, adding Tennis.com to our roster of clients across web and mobile, underlining our reputation as the go-to partner for any forward-thinking sports organization that wants to revamp its owned and operated digital assets.”

Andi Chu, vice president, editor-in-chief, Tennis Channel, added: “From the beginning they’ve understood our vision for Tennis.com and our new app and have been tremendous partners in the execution of our goals. We know tennis fans around the world are going to enjoy using these new platforms.”
