Channel 4 creative services and design group Spin have together won the British Design and Art Direction (D&AD) award for TV and cinema graphics brand identity, writes Barbara Marshall
The duo picked up the silver award on Wednesday (22 May) for their work on the C4 ident Vapour Trail (pictured). The Mill also picked up a silver in the special effects category for its work on the Levi's Twist commercial, while Passion Pictures collected two silvers - one for animation and the other, in association with 750 MPH, for sound - for their work on the Playstation 2 commercial Wolfman. The D&AD awards, known as the 'yellow pencils', are the biggest creative awards event for the design and advertising industry.
