London post and effects facilities Golden Square Post and Double Negative have formed an alliance in an effort to attract more commercials work.A team of Double Negative 3D animators, led by 3D head Paul Franklin, will work out of Golden Square's offices, and the two companies will be joined via media network Soho Net. There will be four new Maya licences for the team with links to Double Negative.The agreement marks the first concerted push by Double Negative, primarily a film effects house, to move into the commercials arena.
