Production music producer Extreme Music, in association with Broadcast, is launching a production music talent search in order to find the UK's best new composers. A judging panel will pick the best of the tracks submitted and Broadcast readers can then vote for their favourites. Twenty winners will have their work released for licensing on a special Idol disc. The composer with the highest number of votes will be crowned 'Extreme Idol' - winning two days' studio time at Abbey Road Studios.
