Viaccess-Orca and French TV channel TF1 used last week’s friendly football international between France and Russia to test live streamed coverage in 360 degrees and Ultra HD.
The HEVC-encoded virtual reality demo was screened to a private audience and made use of compression and delivery technology from Harmonic, Keepixo over-the-top streaming and 360- degree stitching and image processing provided by Video- Stitch.
