The Chase moves to Elstree

BBC S&PP will provide studio, technical and crew support at its Elstree complex for the eighth series of the ITV Studios game show.

For the first run of recordings in March, The Chase will be housed in BBC S&PP’s 11,200 sq ft Elstree Studio D.

From the middle of March production then moves to Stage 9 at Elstree Studios.

“We’re delighted to add The Chase to the line-up of hit shows that reside with us at Elstree,” said Meryl McLaren, commercial manager at BBC Studios and Post Production.

“Providing quality, cost effective set-standing solutions for long running series is something that our team is very experienced in, and our investment in the Elstree sites ensures our studios are equipped to host any size or type of television production.”
