The Finish Line has hired Jonathan Blessley as the facility’s first-ever managing director.

Blessley joined the post firm this week from his role as senior post producer at Clear Cut Pictures.

He has now taken over day-to-day operations at The Finish Line, allowing founder Zeb Chadfield to focus on online editing and grading.

Chadfield said: “The biggest part of our business is bringing final post in-house with production companies that complete their own offline edit, and Jonathan will become part of their teams, smoothing out the process and making sure everything from media ingest to delivery is handled smoothly.”

Some of The Finish Line’s credits include Channel 4’s The Island With Bear Grylls and Strippers (pictured) as well as Vertigo Roadtrip for the BBC.
