The Foundry has certified AMD’s FirePro graphics cards for use with Mari.

AMD’s FirePro W7000, W8000, W9000 and AMD Radeon HD 7850, HD 7950 graphics cards have all been approved for use with version 1.6 of The Foundry’s 3D digital painting tool.

The Foundry’s Mari product manager Jack Greasley said: “We’re really pleased that we’re now able to fully test and qualify cards from AMD.

“We’ve been working hard with them to make this happen and it’s great to have AMD FirePro and AMD Radeon cards as first class MARI platforms.”
