How it was done The Game was shot with a Sony F65 and an Arri Alexa. It was then graded by senior colourist Asa Shoul. One of the challenges of the project was the limited palette of colours, with mostly muted browns used for the series. Shoul enhanced the green and blue tones where he could, added grain for a filmic feel and used a Kodak print emulation LUT to make it more cinematic in appearance. The online edit was completed by senior editor Justin Eely and included ‘de-modernising’ exterior shots to remove satellite dishes and modern signs, as well as several monitor comps to insert archive material.
