MPC (Moving Picture Company) has added award-winning senior colourist Paul Harrison to its telecine team.

Former Mill man Harrison specializes in commercials and pop promos. His credits include spots for Guinness (pictured) and LG Electronics and videos for Lily Allen.

He will work alongside other MPC colourists Jean-Clement Soret, Mark Gethin, George K and Kenny Gibb.

Creative director of colour grading Soret said: ‘Paul is an incredibly talented artist who brings a different creative approach. Everyone is very excited about him joining the team'

Harrison joins MPC following a technology review that has seen the implementation of non-linear grading, the establishment of a DataLab for digital workflows and a refurbishment of the colour grading department.

“His experience setting up non-linear grading pipelines and working on Da Vinci and Pogle grading systems as well as the Baselight will be a real asset,” said Soret.

Harrison was crowned BTA Craft Award Best Colourist in 2005 and 2006.
