Brief
Full post-production and rig shoot record on a 5 x 60-minute series that follows a real judge, jury and barristers over the course of a fictional murder trial.

How it was done
Colourist Nuala Sheridan graded the series on Digital Vision Nucoda. For the rig camera-shot courtroom scenes, working closely with directors Nick Holt and Kath Mattock, Sheridan cooled down the warm wood tones in the courtroom and used multiple layers to sympathetically enhance the images and create shapes to draw the viewer’s eye. Nick Fry and Jules Woods mixed the audio using ProTools 12 on an Avid S6 console with tracklay and effects work by James Evans. In addition to making the interview microphones sound ‘off mic’, sync was taken from location recordings and used as sound FX to ensure authenticity.
